One of the main attractions of staying at R/C PARADISE is the convenience of being able to use your own models. However, we appreciate that for a number of reasons there is a demand for access to a fleet of sale or hire models as well.
Obviously there are risks involved when flying models and these have to be managed commercially. For this reason we offer our models in one or more of the following ways:-
1. SALE & BUYBACK This method is the least expensive, as you will accepting the
risks involved, I.e. Just as you would with your own model, a crash would
result in a loss that you would take yourself. However providing the model
is returned undamaged then we guarantee to buy it back at the original price
less only a daily depreciation charge. The price of the model will reduce as
the number of hires increases, so that it will become more attractive to keep
outright. In this way we are able to keep our fleet refreshed.
2. INSURED HIRE In this method the risk of loss is covered by an insurance premium
paid in addition to the hire charge. In the event of a claim the insurance for
subsequent hires will increase, but should no claims be made a partial refund
of the premiums will be given at the end of your stay. The insurance rate may be adjusted throughout the season depending on the rate of claims experienced .
3. SUPERVISED HIRE In this case we accept all the risk, by providing a supervising
Pilot using dual control. The sole purpose of the supervising pilot is to protect our asset, otherwise the hirer is can fly normally. This method is suitable not
Only for eliminating risk but also for pilots with limited experience being able to try more advanced types.
We are aware that the above may seem a bit complex, however we believe it is a better solution than say an overall weekly charge, which would be less flexible and could lead to misunderstandings.

Basic 10% of hire charge
After 1 claim 15% of hire charge
After 2 claims 25% of hire charge
(following any further claim access to the hire fleet would be reviewed)
